Cubs Lose NLDS Game 2: Washington Nationals 6, Chicago Cubs 3 • SAT OCT 07, 2017 8:39 PM CT








The Nationals looked as though they were going to fall behind 2-0 in the NLDS series while trailing 3-1, but in the 8th inning Washington broke out with four hits and five runs, led by a game-winning 3-run homer from Ryan Zimmerman (1B), after a game-tying 2-run homer by Bryce Harper (RF).  The NLDS resumes with Game 3 at Wrigley Field on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 3:08 PM on TBS. Cubs pitcher Jose Quintana is expected to face the Nationals' two-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer.
